Our daily programme is underpinned by Te Whāriki, the early childhood curriculum. Our child focussed programme provides rich, unhurried experiences to empower your child to authentically explore and enquire.
Self-directed play and teacher led opportunities support children to develop their sense of self, while strengthening interpersonal skills, self-regulation and cognitive development.

Our expansive, outdoor-focused Early Learning Centre offers authentic, nature-rich experiences that are specifically designed to encourage each child’s growth and development, holistically and at their own pace.
Our outdoor education and garden to table programme engages the heart and mind of each child.
Country Kids places high value on nurturing, respecting and celebrating a
child's unique qualities.
Each person brings with them their own sense of being, knowing and doing.
We also uphold a commitment to biculturalism. Mātauranga Māori, tikanga values align with our philosophy and are woven into planning & learning experiences for tamariki.
Our team will take time to get to know and to develop partnerships with whānau and families. We respect each families' values and aspirations.
Together, in collaboration with families, our team co-construct authentic learning opportunities to extend, nurture and celebrate each child's developmental success moments.
As the saying goes... it takes a village to raise a child. We connect with local schools and places of interest to promote quality learning opportunities and experiences to scaffold each child's understanding of the wider world in which they live.
